At Lee’s Medals, we take pride in the work we do for you. Once we receive your order, the medals are cleaned, new ribbon applied and are then mounted in the proper order, either court mounted (solid back as shown in the photos) or swing mounted - where the ribbons are suspended from a bar and are free to “jangle”.
Your medals can be hand delivered
to us or mailed in using Canada Post Express Post service. Once you contact us,
we will provide you with an accurate estimate of the cost of the work as well as
the time you expect to have your medals returned to you. Time varies according
to our workload but a turnaround time of 10 days is normal. In exceptional
circumstances, we can do the work overnight.
The medals are mounted according to your requirements.

Should a medal be corroded or deemed to be in such a condition that it cannot be cleaned properly, we recommend that they be anodized, a process where the medal is permanently presented in a high gloss finish. This plating process takes a number of weeks but once anodized, the medal will retain its pristine look forever.
At Lee’s Medals, we are constantly aware of changes made by the Department of National Defence with the introduction of new medals, changes in clasps or bars and any other changes which may occur. For example, the General Campaign Medal and General Campaign Star ribbons were recently changed to depict multiple rotation bars instead of the “ISAF or Allied Force” bars. Similarly, the undress ribbon for the Southwest Asia Service Medal (SWASM) now depicts a three maple leaf shield instead of the former silver maple leaf.
Be assured, when your medals leave our shop, they are up to date and arranged in the correct order. We strive to provide you the best service possible so that you present an image second to none.
